Swift Technique

Swift Technique, Philadelphia’s multi-faceted musical collective, is springing into its 15th year at full speed! The band’s unique hybrid blend of funk, soul, rock, hip-hop, and relentless showmanship has propelled the group into its most successful period to date. With potent, dynamic horn lines, thunderous bass and drums, driving guitar and keys, and more dance moves than you can shake a booty at, Swift Tech’s live performances are unmatched in energy, musicianship, and pure feel-good fun.

Starting in 2007, the band has grown to incorporate musicians from all over Philadelphia, expanding from its original nucleus into a collective much like their hometown heroes, The Roots. Swift Technique has performed at top-tier venues across the country, including high-profile festivals and private events.

Having released a couple of EPs and strong singles, the group’s debut full-length album, the mysteriously titled Martian Farm, is already out and represents a milestone in the band’s continual evolution in live performances, songwriting, and their communal approach to music. With new music on the horizon in 2025, including a cover of “All You Zombies” by local legends The Hooters, Swift Technique’s journey is just getting started.
